In August 2025 Indonesia published its National AI Roadmap: three pillars — talent, research and industrial innovation, infrastructure and data — with targets of 100,000 AI talents a year and 20 million AI-literate citizens by 2029, a national cloud in sovereign data centres, and a Sovereign AI Fund designed with Danantara.
It names the sectors that come first. EdgeMode is the operating company that turns those intentions into running infrastructure.

01 · Indonesian operation
PT Edge Mode Indonesia develops, owns and operates every factory; operations teams are Indonesian, trained under a multi-year technology-transfer programme.
02 · Data residency by design
Customer data, model weights and tokens stay in Indonesia; OJK, health and government residency are engineered in, not bolted on.
03 · National power
Factories run on PLN power under long-term agreements, with renewable certificates and a path to on-site green generation.
04 · Roadmap sectors first
Refineries are sequenced to the roadmap: finance, health, government, education, creative economy.
